  • SIT CONFERENCE

    The 2019 Students Involved with Technology Conference will be held Saturday, February 9, from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Blackhawk Middle School. The conference includes speakers, hands-on activities, competitions, lunch, a snack, a T-shirt, and opportunities to attend different tech workshops and win a variety of prizes.

    Online registrations for the 2019 Students Involved with Technology (SIT) Conference will be accepted through Wednesday, January 23.

  • 5ESSENTIALS PIZZA PARTY CONTEST

    Your voice matters! Complete the 5Essentials Survey to share your feedback and help WIN a pizza party for your child’s classroom!

    All you need to do is to complete the 5Essential Survey online by Friday, February 15. 

    Don’t have a computer? Chromebooks are available in Johnson's front office to complete the survey.

  • FREE DENTAL EXAMS OFFERED AT JOHNSON

    All students -- should they choose to apply -- qualify for a free dental exam through Bensenville School District 2’s free, on-site dental sealant program. The exams meet the state’s dental exam requirements for students entering kindergarten, second, and sixth grades. The program also provides applicants who qualify for financial assistance with free dental cleaning, sealants, and fluoride treatment, as well as off-site restorative care if necessary.

    The exams will be offered at Johnson on Monday and Tuesday, February 4 and 5.

  • JOHNSON AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

    The following after-school programs offered through the new Johnson RISE Academy will begin on Monday, January 28, and end on Friday, May 31:

    • Drama: Grades 1-2, 3:30-5 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays
    • Visual Arts: Grades 1-2, 2:30-5 p.m. on Tuesdays, and 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursdays
    • Latin Dance: Grades 3-5, 3:30-5 p.m. on Fridays.

    Transportation will be provided.

  • JOHNSON PTA SHOPAROO FUNDRAISER

    Help Johnson's PTA fundraising efforts by downloading the Shoparoo app and snapping your receipts. Each receipt counts toward points or a sweepstakes entry. The points are converted to a check at the end of August 2019. At the end of the school year, the PTA will have a raffle for the top 25 contributors. There will be one lucky winner of a $50 gift card! So start snapping those receipts!

  • JOHNSON PTA PORTILLO'S FUNDRAISER

    Once again, the Johnson PTA is sponsoring a Portillo’s fundraiser, which will take place on Wednesday, January 23, at the Elmhurst location at 155 S. Route 83. The fundraiser will run from 5-8 p.m., and to participate you will either need to bring a copy of the flyer or show it on your smartphone.

  • JOHNSON FIFTH GRADE'S BAKE SALE

    We are looking for parents to help with the fifth grade bake sale that will be held at Bingo Night next Friday, January 18th from 5:30-8 p.m. The proceeds from the bake sale will help to pay for the fifth grade's end-of-the-year celebration, bowling and a pizza party.

  • EARLY DISMISSAL REMINDER

    Tuesday is early dismissal day. Students are dismissed at 2:25 p.m. every Tuesday.
