  • FREE DENTAL EXAMS OFFERED AT TIOGA

All students -- should they choose to apply -- qualify for a free dental exam through Bensenville School District 2’s free, on-site dental sealant program. The exams meet the state’s dental exam requirements for students entering kindergarten, second, and sixth grades. The program also provides applicants who qualify for financial assistance with free dental cleaning, sealants, and fluoride treatment, as well as off-site restorative care if necessary.

The exams will be offered at Tioga on Monday and Tuesday, January 28 and 29.

  • PARENT PRESENTATIONS ON NEW ONLINE GRADEBOOK

District 2 has implemented TeacherEase this school year for its online gradebook. The parent portal portion of TeacherEase will be opening on February 4, and will allow parents to view their child’s performance on his/her classroom assessments and view previous progress reports and report cards. This can be done anytime on any Internet-connected device (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet).

To introduce parents to this new program, we have scheduled the following TeacherEase parent portal and online gradebook presentations:

    • Coffee with the Principal: Tuesday, February 5, at 9 a.m. in the cafeteria
    • Prior to the February Tioga PTA Meeting: Monday, February 11, at 5:45 p.m. in the cafeteria
