All three BSD2 schools receive high marks on the 2019 Illinois Report Cards.
The Illinois State Board of Education has released its 2019 Illinois Report Cards, which rate all three schools in Bensenville School District 2 as "Commendable" based largely upon students' scores on the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) completed in the spring 2019.
This designation takes into account our students' growth and proficiency levels in English/language arts, math, and science, as well as our schools' attendance rates and their results on the Illinois 5Essentials school climate survey.
"I am so proud of our amazing work with our children and community to help us achieve this status," said Dr. James Stelter, Superintendent of Schools. "This is a remarkable achievement, and we are dedicated to doing the hard work necessary to continue to improve on this performance in years to come."
The Illinois State Board of Education annually releases school report cards that show how each school, each district, and the state is performing on a wide range of educational goals. The report cards contain information about student academic growth and achievement, student and teacher demographics, enrollment, district-level financial information, and information from the Illinois 5Essentials Survey.
